The course is divided into 3 parts

• Beginner's Drawing

• Painting

Drawing Basics

Drawing basics will be the foundation of drawing for the students where the instructor will teach them observation, getting used to drawing, how to approach a drawing, simple techniques used in sketching, etc. The topics covered are as follow-

• Line/Pencilwork

Students will be taught multiple exercises, how to draw confident strokes, how to use pencil, how to draw effeiciently.

• Shapes

Every object, animals, birds, humans are made out of certain shapes. Students will be taught how to recognise this shapes, how to use shapes in their drawing/how to draw using shapes.

• Sketching

Students will be taught how to sketch day to day objects, plants, animals, cartoons, landscapes, etc.

• Step by Step guidance

  (Methodical drawing)

The entire drawing process from start to finish with every step explained in detail teaching how to approach and finish a drawing.

• Observational Drawing

How to observe from real life , study them and draw them on paper .

• Proportions ( Measurement)

How to measure objects from real life and draw them proportionally on paper. How to understand size.

• Basic Values ( light and shadow)

Understanding light and dark values, studing how light and shadows work and how to use them in drawings.

• Composition

How to arrange and frame objects in a drawing that is visually appealing and beautiful to the viewer.

• Abstract Drawing

Students will be taught to create abstract art using shapes

Beginner's Drawing

This portion will focus on drawing practices, how to finish/render drawings, how to draw anything and everything.

• Hatching

How to use hatching to complete/ finish a drawing without shading it and make it a beautiful finished product.

• Basic shading

How to shade drawing using light and dark values.

• Drawing 101/Drawing journal

This portion will cover drawing subjects from all types of niche. E.g- Fish, plants/ botany, humans/characters/animals, birds, sceneries, buildings, vehicles, etc. This will be done to make the student absolutely comfortable at drawing anything efficiently.

• Artistic/ Creative approach

How to further push drawings to make it look artistic and memorable. How to generate original ideas and create art.

Painting

This portion teaches the student painting using different art mediums such as Charcoal, Watercolor, Acrylic, Pencilcolor, Postercolor ,etc.

• Brushwork

How to draw/paint using paint brush, brush techniques, how to use palette knife, etc.

• Color use

Understanding color, getting used to them, studying colors, painting with colors, basic color theory

• Values (light & shadow)

Understanding and using light and dark values in color paintings

• Basic Color mixing

Students will be taught to create secondary and tertiary colors using primary colors

• Monochrome paintings

Creating painting using different values of a single color

• Canvas painting

Students will be taught how to use and paint on canvas as it is one of the most famous medium of painting.

• Abstract Painting

Creating abstract paintings using paint, freeform shapes, etc.

• Paint and color mediums

Different mediums that includes Charcoal, Pencil color, Watercolor, Acrylic, Poster color will be taught thoroughly with detailed multiple practical demos of each medium
